Workday Absence Consultant

Responsibilities :

- Analyze business requirements for absence management processes and translate them into technical configurations within Workday.

- Develop and maintain custom Workday configurations using Workday Studio, including custom objects, fields, workflows, reports, and business process extensions (BPEs).

- Utilize Workday APIs and integrations to connect Workday Absence Management with other HR systems or external applications.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to Workday best practices.

- Conduct unit testing and participate in integration testing to ensure the functionality and quality of configurations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Workday Absence Management issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday releases, features, and functionalities related to Absence Management.

- Provide ongoing support and training to HR users on Workday Absence Management functionalities.

- Participate in knowledge transfer and documentation activities to ensure ongoing support and maintenance.

Technical Skills :

- 4-6 years of experience developing and customizing enterprise applications, preferably in an HCM or HR context.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

- Proven experience with Workday development using Workday Studio.

- Strong understanding of Workday architecture and data model.

- Experience with XaaS (Everything-as-a-Service) development principles.

- Familiarity with Workday APIs and integrations.

- Proficient in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or XML (a plus)
