About the Position
We are looking for someone who can lead our engineering team in India. You will be responsible for building and retaining a high-performing technical team to maintain and extend our products, to ensure they are reliable, efficient, and performant. You will be responsible for communicating with clients, product teams, and senior leadership to understand the business goals for our products, and then executing on those goals.
Requirements
- Deliver on the key KPIs: Revenue, Customer value creation, User NPS, Innovation and DORA metrics
- Work with external clients and internal stakeholders to turn business requirements into working software
- Manage allocation of software engineering resources and solutions
- Develop and deploy software development best practices across teams and projects
- Mentor and develop engineering managers, to help the company scale to 10X our current size
- Assist in recruiting to build out your team
- Work with senior leadership to develop a strategic roadmap for the organization to close competitive gaps, allow us to penetrate new industries/markets, and win strategic deals
- Evolve tech stack to modern tools and paradigms like React, Python, AWS, and microservices
- Assess overall technical debt in the system and develop plans for remediation.
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 10+ years of experience delivering complex software solutions for performance, reliability, and security
- Has been part of a SAAS B2B company that has scaled from tens to millions to hundreds of million in revenue
- Delivered complex software solutions for performance, reliability, and security
- Experience in building high performing engineering teams in an agile environment
- Strong communicator, with the ability to lead and mentor direct reports, and communicate with product managers and senior leadership
