About the role

Job Title: Reporting Specialist

The Reporting Specialist will develop service performance reports that support key decision-making and driving improvement for the GME service. Working with the GME Operations Director, this role has responsibility to manage the day-to-day reporting activities to ensure the service is delivering on the effective and efficiency objectives. Initially the role will be focused on establishing a new service in the US, Australia, and global congresses team and then expand into optimizing the services. Other markets will be deployed in future waves.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Strong knowledge in MSSQL (T-SQL)

Expert in Power BI & added advantage if they has knowledge in any one of the BI Tools (Tableau, SAP BO, MicroStrategy, etc...) with effective visualization skills

Analyze and manage all reporting requirements to support both tactical and strategic decisions for service execution, customer experience, compliance, quality control, and operational optimization

Assess, prioritize, and communicate future reporting needs, functions, and strategies.

Investigate and solve reporting issues and problems

Generate and maintain control documentation of reporting procedures to ensure data integrity and efficiency

Establish reporting standards and criteria and maintain data and reporting integrity

Configure standard system reports, as well as customized reports as required

Pull and analyze relevant information from different sources including SAP, Concur, Cvent

Analyze reports and trends and based on findings, prepare and communicate results and recommendations

Ensure accuracy of all reported data by continually reviewing and analyzing current sources, processes, and systems functions

Experience working in a globally distributed team.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

4 to 6 years of experience in development using any reporting tool with ETL knowledge

Superb communication skills in both verbal and written English

Preferred

Pharmaceutical experience; or other highly-regulated environment

Experience with meeting industry technology (StarCite, CVENT)

Meeting management and/or Travel industry experience.

Experience of working in Pharmaceuticals industry

Experience in any Technology/Platform preferably in the Meetings & events space

Knowledge of Web Services & Service Oriented Architecture

Experience working in a shared service environment

Experience of working with 3rd party providers
