The Company

Role - Overview

A key member of the India HR team, this role is responsible for conceptualizing and delivering HR strategies for the India & SAARC Sales teams. This is an individual contributor role and will be responsible for a spectrum of HR activities and programs that supports business strategy to ensure business success. The incumbent will need to function across the employee life cycle focusing on attracting, assimilating, developing and retaining talent for the organization. The role provides opportunity to try things out of box and non-conventional in the typical HR context.

Role - Key Accountabilities

Partner with local and regional business leaders and managers to understand business imperatives and articulate people priorities. Strategic view and delivery on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning and cost management to support a high growth business. The implementation of organisation-wide people initiatives for the business such as capability building, learning interventions, talent reviews, benefits, policies, on boarding programs, compensation reviews, performance cycles, onboarding etc. Contribute to country-wide / global initiatives & projects Coach leaders and managers on a variety of topics that impact business results. Assess and address leadership and employee training needs. Work with leaders, people managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues Collaborate with specialist HR functions to design solutions to cater to the people priorities of the business Continuously improve employee engagement, performance, retention and employee experience Own end-to-end HR processes for your businesses.  Build concrete understanding of Fortinet’s business and leverage it to attract potential talent to the company. Proactively review and analyse business data to identify trends and recommend improvements to business efficiency and performance. Prepare various HR reports and metrics. Participate in audits of various data for the regional teams.

Required Skills

The incumbent must hold an MBA / PGDBM / MS / MSW from an institute of repute 10+ years of HR experience in a Tier 1 technology / High-tech organization 5+ years’ experience as a HR Business Partner supporting Sales teams Ability to manage HR Programs in a complex and matrix business environment Impactful communication, consulting and analytical skills with ability to apply quantitative analysis to HR scenarios Strong business and people acumen and ability to influence business leaders at a leadership level. Strong focus on innovation and deep understanding of the business Excellent social media presence and knowledge A “roll up your sleeves and get it done” leadership style and marked by a high level of energy and attention to detail Sound knowledge of India employment laws and industry trends Capacity to influence management to facilitate an open, inclusive, values-based environment that enables effective employee relations
