Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our team at Fleeter. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth for our heavy equipment rental marketplace in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients, showcasing the benefits of our comprehensive solution, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Proven track record of 4 to 6 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the heavy equipment rental or related industry
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of sales principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Identify, prospect, and generate new leads through various channels, including cold-calling, networking, and referrals
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their rental needs and promoting the benefits of Fleeter's platform
  • Demonstrate and present the features and functionality of our rental marketplace to potential clients, highlighting the value it brings to their businesses
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring successful onboarding and adoption of Fleeter's platform by new clients
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and objectives, consistently driving revenue growth
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns
  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline, and performance to the sales manager
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the heavy equipment rental industry, market trends, and competitors
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent Fleeter and actively engage with potential clients
  • Continuously develop and enhance sales skills and product knowledge through training and self-study
