JobDescriptionWe are looking foran experienced Licensed ClinicalPsychologistMinimum Degree: Master ofPhilosophy (MPhil) with RCI LicenseCriteria:Only RCI Licensed Candidates Apply for theJob.Duration of Experience: Minimum 56year& rsquo sSalary: As per industrystandardsJob Location:JambughodaA candidate with prior experiencein dealing with substance use disorders will bepreferred.JobDescription:1) Managing assigned clientsindependently thru individual counsellingsessions2) Conducting groupsessions3) Participating in family meetingsonce a month.4) Coordinating with familymembers to about progress of client & sending progressreport every 15 days5) Identifypsychological emotional or behaviouralissues6) Diagnose psychological emotional orbehavioural disorders7) Develop andimplement treatment plans and therapeuticprocesses8) Monitor client progress throughregular meetings or sessions9) Offer therapyand treatments for issues relating to a range of mental healthconditions such as anxiety depression OCD BPAD substance usedisorder PTSD somatic disorders eating disorders developmentaldisorders personality disorders and neurologicaldisorders.10) Observes patients in varioussituations selects administers and interpretsintelligencepersonality or otherpsychological tests to diagnose disorders and formulate plans oftreatmentand provides consultation withregard to test results.11) Help clientsdefine goals and plan action to achieve personal social educationalandvocational development andadjustment12) Utilizing variouspsychological techniques selects appropriate treatment approach andplansfrequency intensity and duration ofindividual group and family therapies.13)Assesses and communicates patient progress and modifies treatmentprograms accordingly14) Provide clinicalsupervision to less experienced psychologists and members of thewidermultidisciplinaryteam15) Documents therapy in accordance withpolicies and procedures regarding medicalrecordsimplements and adheres to policieswhich ensure patient confidentiality.16)Provides crisis intervention in situations requiring immediatepsychological treatment.17) May helpstudents serving psychological internships with theorganisation18) Online therapy and sessionexperience is preferred but not mandatory19)Evaluating new clients coming for admission as per availability oftime.20) Clarifying doubts of potentialclients referred by marketing team through telephonictalk21) Working closely with Psychiatriststo address medical issues faced byclients22) Maintaining client& rsquos confidentiality & maintaining all documentation asneeded.23) Preparing discharge summary& conducting sessions with family at time ofdischarge24) Conducting online follow upsessions of discharged clients as per Organizationprotocols
KnowledgeSkills and Abilities Required1) Knowledge ofpsychological theory and practice2) RCIcertification requirements and standards.3)Knowledge of crisis interventiontechniques.4) Ability to observe assess andrecord symptoms reactions and progress.5)Ability to effectively communicate medical information test resultsdiagnoses and/orproposed treatment in amanner easily understood by the client.6)Psychological/developmental evaluationskills.7) Ability to use independentjudgment and to manage and impart confidentialinformation.8) Ability to assess mentalstatus in clients and to develop individual treatment goalsandplans.9) Knowledgeof psychological test administration scoring andinterpretation.10) Ability to maintainemotional stability to cope with human suffering emergenciesandother stresses.11)Skill in preparing and maintaining patientrecords.12) A candidate with priorexperience in dealing with substance use disorders willbepreferred.
