JobDescription:1. Design and implement astrategic sales plan that expands company s customer base andensures its strong presence.2. Achievegrowth and profitability targets3. Work withthe Business head & marketing mangers sales organization todevelopaccount strategies with specificobjectives and action items4. Regularmeetings with key opinion leaders of key customers target accountsandstrategically importantprospects5. Gain strong understanding ofoverall market dynamics including influence of regulations on foodsafety and pharma packaging6. Grow projectpipeline by prospecting identifying and evaluating newopportunities and closing sales7. Gathermarket data and competitive intelligence through customerinteraction keyopinion leaders regulatorybodies and other sources8. Develop strongrelationships at key customers across variousdepartments9. Participate in the developmentof corporate strategy for the PAN India & acrossglobemarket.10.Participate in the negotiation of development and licenseagreements with customersandpartners11. Propose new business models tomaximize the value of our offerings andservices12. Develop strong relationshipsstrategies and alliances with food service packaging and foodprocessing space13. Gather and drive inputfor new product development and create business plansappropriate14. Support development ofmarketing materials and communication activities(pressreleases presentations eventstradeshows)15. Attend industry functionssuch as association events andconferences16. Regular public speakingpresenting being the ambassador of thecompany17. Surveillance of new competingproducts and competitive landscape by trackingthecompetition
JobSpecification:10 years&rsquo salesexperience in markets related to food or beverage packaging andideallymaterialsscienceIdeally: University degree in LifeSciences (microbiology / food technology packaging)MBAMarketingpreferredKnowledge of Filling &Packaging Processes and MachinesExperienceworking in a global environment RequiredSkillsProven track record of effectivelydeveloping sales strategies and delivering businessgrowthStrong existing network of pharma& food service executives purchasing andpackagingengineersDiversifiedexperience across multiple fields (e.g. operations quality productdevelopment project management regulatoryaffairs)Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills to effectively communicate clear vision andvalue proposition to potentialcustomersStrong technical understanding offood safety risk assessment and regulatoryrequirement(FDA USDA) and other relevantregulatory bodies and regulations such as FSMA andHACCPExisting strong and robust professionalnetworkUsed to public speaking able tonegotiate commitments and timelines from internalandexternalparties
