JobSummary:The Events (ProgramManager) is a MidSenior leadership role responsible for developingand curating content for conferences exhibitions webinars androadshows. This individual will work closely with stakeholders toset the vision and content for events and create optimal userexperiences forparticipants.
KeyResponsibilities:
  • Conductresearch to determine event objectives develop clear concepts anddesign event flow.
  • Create and manage eventbudgets setting goals for attendee numbers revenue andexpenses.
  • To ideate and conceptualize the eventcontent.
  • Validate and screen with the contentteam for ideation of the event subject.
  • Lead /Supervise and coordinate with other stakeholders for timely andright flow of the planned event.
  • Collaboratewith the central team to coordinate content marketingcommunications and business developmentefforts.
  • Lead and supervise a team ensuringeffective task delegation and workdivision.
  • Ensure adherence to IT processes andsystems during event onboarding and .
  • Generatecomprehensive MIS reports throughout the event and upon itscompletion.
  • Gather feedback from the team andclients following the eventsconclusion.

Qualificationsand Eligibility Criteria:
  • Agraduate or postgraduate preferably with an MBA from a reputedinstitute with 5 to 10 years of experience in diverse aspects ofevent management including organizing national and internationalevents specially in Metals & Miningsectors and be part ofthat.
  • Dynamic and highenergy able to multitaskwith an eye for detail and insight into the event managementindustry. Creative and innovative in eventplanning.
  • Wellnetworked with industrystakeholders such as event management companies advertiserssponsors and exhibitors.
  • Demonstratedexperience in handling teams and working with other people andagencies.
  • Strong commercial acumen able todrive the team s operationseffectively.
  • Technically savvy wellversed withtools for virtual and offsite team and eventmanagement.

OtherEssential SkillsRequired:
  • Outstandingpublic speaking and presentation skills as the candidate willrepresent the company at national and international events.Willingness to relocate to any business unit asrequired.
  • Exceptional communication skills bothverbal and written particularly in English. High standards inbusiness communication including email correspondence for detailedand regular coordination with numerous panIndia and internationalagencies.
  • Capable of managing large diverse andvirtual teams as well as vendors and third parties involved insuccessful event . Adept at handling people in diverse teams andfrequent travel both nationally andinternationally.
  • Good Network connect withMetals & Mining Industries and have an exposure to suchkind of Industrial and corporateevents.
