Job Title: Senior Event Manager

At PyjamaHR, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Event Manager to join our team. As a Senior Event Manager, you will be responsible for developing and curating content for conferences, exhibitions, webinars, and roadshows. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to set the vision and content for events and create optimal user experiences for participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research to determine event objectives, develop clear concepts, and design event flow.
  • Create and manage event budgets, setting goals for attendee numbers, revenue, and expenses.
  • Develop and ideate event content, working closely with the content team.
  • Validate and screen event content with the content team.
  • Lead and supervise the coordination of events, ensuring timely and smooth execution.
  • Collaborate with the central team to coordinate content marketing, communications, and business development efforts.
  • Lead and supervise a team, ensuring effective task delegation and work division.
  • Ensure adherence to IT processes and systems during event onboarding and execution.
  • Generate comprehensive MIS reports throughout the event and upon its completion.
  • Gather feedback from the team and clients following the event's conclusion.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria:
  • A graduate or postgraduate degree, preferably with an MBA from a reputable institute, with 5 to 10 years of experience in diverse aspects of event management, including organizing national and international events, particularly in the Metals & Mining sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling teams and working with other people and agencies.
  • Strong commercial acumen, able to drive the team's operations effectively.
  • Technically savvy, well-versed with tools for virtual and offsite team and event management.

Other Essential Skills Required:
  • Outstanding public speaking and presentation skills, representing the company at national and international events.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English.
  • Capable of managing large, diverse, and virtual teams, as well as vendors and third parties involved in successful event execution.
