Senior Lead Strategy

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Strategy & Planning Consultant.
We are seeking highly skilled and talented Business and Strategy individual who will form part of an agile group of professionals that will work across the Consumer, Small & Business Banking (CSBB) core businesses and functions to provide deep strategic analysis and solutions to enable existing and new businesses to develop and expand. As a Senior Lead Strategy & Planning Consultant for the CDAI (Consumer Data, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence) function, the incumbent will be responsible for identifying opportunities for strategic interventions to drive intake management, effectiveness, efficiency and experience across the function. He/she is expected to lead/facilitate complex initiatives/programs across locations and expected to work closely with LOB / Functional Leadership and India & Philippines leadership teams.
The work will involve developing dynamic business plans, identifying areas for opportunities and growth within each initiative to ensure that it correlates back to the overall strategy of the CSBB and the broader enterprise. This team will also be able to pivot and enable rapid learning and adaptation while also ensuring programmatic rigor in execution.
In this role, you will:
- Act as an advisor to leadership.
- Develop or influence highly complex business and technical needs across groups and functions.
- Provide principal level strategic consulting services to client organizations.
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges.
- Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and guidance to others.

- Partner with executive management across Wells Fargo to define the business strategy then create and execute corresponding business plans and initiative.
- Plan, direct, and control the formulate strategic business objectives for assigned business unit.
- Lead strategic planning efforts across delivery teams & Enterprise LOBs/Business functions to ensure integrated and holistic long-range solutions for organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead/manage strategic initiatives and develop project plans, frame and conduct insightful analyses, identify solutions, and develop business cases and implementation plans.
- Facilitate decision-making and issue resolution as required with a broad array of leaders from across the organization.
- A team player & seasoned professional that is inclusive and inquisitive in learning about the current businesses and needs and can quickly provide rich insight into the overall strategic environment.
- Obtain buy-in to proposed solutions / plans from stakeholders.
- Coordination of business strategy and strategic initiatives including decision rationale around locations, in-house vs. vendor choices and future state operating model for effective and efficient global solutioning.
- Skilled at determining how and assessing our current business's real time competitive advantage leveraging the internal and external data and business intelligence to formulate the desired outcome.
- Innovative in the way to structure and manage what could be at times intensive and competing priorities but can be focused and dedicated to contributing towards the outcomes desired by the executive sponsors and stakeholders.
- Interfacing with senior leaders/executive management and partners across groups to influence long-term strategic direction.
- Monitor industry and global trends to assess possible implications and impact on Wells Fargo global delivery strategy.
- Partner effectively across time zones and cultures to successfully manage complex issues.
- Proactively manage day to day business office responsibilities, driving adherence to Risk & Compliance mandates.
- Travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
- 7+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Proven experience and track record in creating and executing strategic programs and working in strategic consulting teams.
- Experience and good understanding of the Banking industry, analytics & reporting and GIC world and its processes.
- End-to-end understanding of digital organizations, Agile culture, tools & processes, ways of working
- 7+ years of domain experience in business strategy, planning, transformation & advisory
- Post-graduation in business management is preferred.
- Good understanding of Banking / Financial services domain (Wholesale / Consumer Banking / Wealth & Investment Management)
- Good understanding of secular trends impacting banking industry
- Efficient project management skills
- Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
