Objective:

To establish a highly effective and strategically-driven marketing department that will elevate Tarasri’s brand and business in the premium jewelry segment, with a strong focus on quality, integrity, and customer value. This document outlines the key requirements and responsibilities expected for the role of a Director of Marketing and initial team members.

Position: Director of Marketing

Primary Role:

To lead and implement effective marketing strategies across social, digital, and print channels while guiding a team of junior managers for successful execution of BTL (Below-the-Line) and ATL (Above-the-Line) activities. This person must understand Tarasri's core values and develop strategies that align with the brand's premium position, focusing on quality, transparency, and a customer-first approach.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Marketing Leadership

• Develop and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies that elevate brand visibility, drive footfall, increase lead generation, and encourage engagement across multiple channels.
• Formulate and guide the team on strategies that align with Tarasri’s values—emphasizing quality, integrity, and genuine customer care.
• Implement and monitor these strategies, adapting based on analytics and feedback to continuously refine marketing efforts.

2. Team Coordination and Execution

• Act as a team coordinator and implementer, ensuring strategies are executed on schedule and to the highest standards.
• Manage junior managers in executing BTL and ATL activities, delegating responsibilities clearly and monitoring deliverables to optimize efficiency.
• Cultivate an environment of accountability, clear communication, and goal alignment across the marketing team.

3. Content and Creative Oversight

• Identify and onboard team members for specific content roles, including:
   - Graphic & Video Design: Creating visual content for social media, digital platforms, print, brochures, and other brand materials.
   - Content Writing: Developing compelling written content that resonates with our target audience.

CRM Utilization & Analytics

  • Utilize CRM (currently Zoho) effectively, understanding its role in tracking the customer journey, managing lead flows, and improving conversion rates.
  • Implement CRM strategies that allow the team to track and optimize each stage of the customer journey, identifying points of friction and improving transitions between stages.
  • Use analytics to review strategy performance, diagnose issues, and make data-driven adjustments to improve overall marketing effectiveness.

Market Positioning and Competitive Analysis

  • Develop positioning strategies that leverage Tarasri’s quality and authenticity to stand out against competitors who may employ discounting and low-cost appeals.
  • Understand the premium jewelry market and luxury brand dynamics, tailoring messaging that communicates the value of Tarasri’s craftsmanship, transparency, and dedication to high standards.

Event & Activation Management

  • Oversee the organization and execution of in-store and external events to drive customer engagement and brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and other team members to align event messaging and goals with Tarasri's strategic objectives.

  • Strategic Acumen: Proven ability to develop effective marketing strategies tailored to a luxury, value-based brand.
  • Team Leadership: Skilled in managing and coordinating a team, with experience in guiding junior managers in specific marketing functions.
  • Analytical Insight: Strong understanding of CRM, analytics, and refining strategies based on performance data.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep familiarity with luxury and premium market dynamics, particularly in jewelry or high-end consumer goods.
  • Integrity and Brand Alignment: A strong personal alignment with Tarasri's values of quality, authenticity, and transparency.
