Must-Have Skills:

  • Creative Writing and Copywriting – Leadership in copywriting, setting a standard for creative excellence across teams.
  • Editing and Proofreading – Final oversight on major projects, ensuring the highest quality output.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork – Leading cross-functional teams to achieve cohesive creative and marketing goals.
  • Brand Voice Development – Driving the development of distinct brand voices for various clients.
  • Content Strategy Developmen t – Formulating and overseeing comprehensive content strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management – Expertly managing client expectations and ensuring satisfaction with creative solutions.
  • Time Management and Deadline Adherence – Ensures deadlines are met, managing complex timelines and projects.


Preferred Skills:

  • Audience Understanding and Research – Deep understanding of target audiences, guiding the team based on audience insights.
  • Cross-functional Leadership – Leading teams across departments to align copy with broader strategic goals.
  • Creativity and Idea Generation – Continual innovation in copy ideas and approaches.


Ideal Skills:

  • Industry Awareness/Exposure – Deep understanding of the industry, setting benchmarks for creative standards.
  • Agency Life Exposure – Extensive exposure to agency culture, leading the team in best practices.
  • Multilingual Proficiency – Strong command of Hindi, English, and Telugu (written) for versatility across projects


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in copywriting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within an agency setting.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse copy across various platforms and industries.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing principles and audience engagement strategies.
  • Multilingual proficiency (Hindi, English, Telugu) is a plus.
