JobDescription

We undertake various O&M CargoHandling Internal Transportation and other contracts with largecorporations at different locations in India. The GM Operationswill be responsible for managing the works as a profitcenterhead from HO and also look after Admin andHR Functions at HO.

PrimaryResponsibilities

1. To ensure daytoday operations are carriedout as per service level agreements (SLA).

2. To create and manage reporting systems foreffective management and control

3. To ensure the availability of equipmentplant and machinery by coordinating propermaintenance

4. Toestablish proper liaison with principals and clients for the properexecution of work

5. Toprepare the budget and to ensure that operations are carried out asper the budget

6.To work out costings for tenders andquotations.

7. Manpowerplanning and overall management of HR.

8. To ensure HR / IR issues are addressed byactive liaison with local authorities andpoliticians etc.

SecondaryResponsibilities

1. Coordination of purchase for spares andconsumables.

2. Ensureall safety HSEs compliances are met with and work is carried outwith the highest safety standards.

3. Carry out regular performance assessmentsof the team as per the SOP.

4. General administration of alllocations.

EducationQualification

Preferably Engineer withMBA

Experience

1015 Years’ experience as head ofoperations / production

SkillsRequired

Functional:

· Efficient inhandling O&M port cargo handling & transportationetc.

· Proper understanding of costingand budget.

· Conversant with Labour andCommercial Laws

IT Skills:

· MS Office (Specially in Advance Excel)
