Role Overview:

The General Manager (HR and Finance) will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day management of our office operations and will be instrumental in driving our growth strategy to expand our team to 100+ members within the next 2 years.

This role will have dual responsibilities, focusing on both end-to-end HR management and comprehensive finance management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in HR and finance management, and a proven track record of success in a technology company environment.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Management:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning.
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Foster a culture of employee engagement, recognition, and retention through effective communication and employee relations initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Develop and maintain HR metrics and analytics to drive data-driven decision-making.

Finance Management:

  • Develop and oversee the company's financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, expense management, and payroll processing.
  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting to provide insights into business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop pricing strategies and revenue optimization initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent from a reputed college with a focus on HR and/or Finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience, preferably in a technology company environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Solid understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of driving results and achieving business objectives.
