Job Summary:

Responsible for managing a team to support the delivery ofa wide range of business activities supporting the development anddelivery of the relevant strategy plans and performance advancingthe agenda by working closely with the Functions providing businessoversight and operational assurance and ensuring that standardspolicies and procedures are fit for purpose and workingeffectively.

  • JobPurpose
  • Thepostholder will work as part of the team delivering the Transitionprogrammed. They will take responsibility for workstreams/focusareas part of a project or programmed and ensure that delivery isunderpinned by a professional approach to programmed and projectmanagement ensuring that activity is being delivered on schedule toagreed quality standards and within budget. The role will includeworking with a team and contractual staff that will be working insupport of the delivery of Transition Programmed.

  • KeyAccountabilities:
  • Manage and lead an integrated team and contract staff toexecute the project/s.
  • Scope 50 to 100 FTEsgreenfield set up across 3 years for shared services as part of newbusiness set up the Product & Operations (P&O) business
  • Transition professional who will be requiredto manage individual engg. transitions
  • Managesenior business stakeholders including sponsors business headsbusiness owners and the business program team and variousfunctional support teams in a matrix organization.
  • Drive adherence to a defined transition methodology in anenvironment where this is a firsttime experience for moststakeholders.
  • Ensuring that project plansproject logs (e.g. Risks assumptions issues dependencies logs) aremanaged effectively for each business unit and for eachplatform/offering that is in scope for 2024 transition.
  • Ensure project costs are well defined and that transitionwork is completed within budget.
  • Ensure robustgovernance and reporting across transition and not limited toweekly/monthly updates. Lead all required governance forums andprepare and deliver status reports Daily weekly fortnightly etc.
  • Ensure that schedules/transition plan for allprojects are established tracked and maintained and that targetsare met.
  • Ensure that appropriate projectassurance steps are conducted throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure transition plans for projects tooperations are prepared agreed to and appropriatelyimplemented.
  • Report project / schedulevariances from plan in a timely manner.
  • Manageexpectations and buyin / ownership to drive the Project agenda aslaid out.
  • Identify and communicate risks andcocreate change solutions throughout the Project period.
  • Accountable for successful transition delivery andoutcomes
  • Education Essentials
  • Bachelors degree from a reputed University
  • Masters degree (desirable)
  • DeliveryExperience
  • 15 years of overall work experienceof which 1012 years of core E2E transition experience(essential)
  • Proven delivery experience inproject delivery building and sustaining high performing teams(essential)
  • Experience in managing complextransitions 50 100 FTEs preferably engg. transitions(essential)
