This role maximizes operational and financial value from IDEMIA's supplies, supporting business partner needs adequately

Key Missions

The total purchasing spends of the IDEMIA Group amount to €2.3B. The Group set ambitious targets for capturing savings through purchasing from both Critical Raw Materials as well all Indirect cost categories by 2023, which involves a significant transformation of the Purchasing organization and how it interacts with other IDEMIA Business Units, Regions, and Functions.
We are looking to increase the coverage and value of Purchasing by hiring a Deputy Manager Purchasing based out of IDEMIA India HO at Noida who focuses on indirect sourcing categories for domestic and Global markets.
Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Purchasing Manager to join our Global purchasing team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a proven track record in purchasing and supply chain management. This role requires an individual who can optimize procurement processes, negotiate with vendors, and utilize data analytics to drive informed purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
• Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to forecast demand, assess purchasing patterns, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage purchasing budgets, ensuring expenditures align with company goals.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about market trends, pricing, and new products.
• Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement function.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering/ business/supply chain management
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in purchasing in Domestic and Global market, with a focus on data analytics.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Microsoft Power point & Excel).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of market dynamics and understanding of supply chain management principles.
