Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manager Facilities Engineering to join our Global Financial Services Division.
Responsible for managing facilities personnel and service providers involved in facility design/fitout, building and grounds maintenance, janitorial, security, food and offices services.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Chennai - Brigade World Trade Center

What you will do

Job Roles and Responsibilities

Manage the Facilities Teams located in Bangalore and Chennai Build relationships and create engagement with business unit stakeholders, landlords and with vendors/contractors Manages all matters relating to FM operations, risk, and compliance. Responsible for the FM team and contractors regarding their delivery of service. Ensure scheduled maintenance program is in place with IFM service provider(s). Monitor and manages FM contractor works and activities, to ensure all works are satisfactorily and safely completed to minimise disruption to business operations. Lead the procurement of facility services (Building Maintenance, Janitorial, Security, Food) and contracts for sites under FM management, in accordance with company procurement guidelines. Foster environmentally friendly practices and behaviours to support our sustainability strategy. Forecast and manage operating and capital budgets. Support Corporate Real Estate team to manage new and existing facility leases. Oversee Emergency Management Process in line with corporate security guidelines Manage EHS in line with corporate guidelines and ensure adherence to local statutory requirements. Manage capital project plans including estimates of critical path, budget and resources needed for target completion. Support BU growth plans to increase and adjust seating capacity, design and utilisation of space for new and existing buildings.

Experience in facilities management or demonstrated success with managing large complex operations or projects Experience in a project management Experience in training or developing others University degree in related discipline, professional training in facilities management techniques as well as and leading and facilitating meetings is highly desired. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or influence others inside and outside the organization. Strong team leadership skills, excellent communication skills, strong consulting skills, ability to multitask effectively, strong analytical and organizational skills. Must have the ability to travel both domestic and internationally.

• Works with business managers to create appropriate budget amounts.

Plant Facilities Management : Knowledge of processes, methodologies and techniques used to manage plant facilities; ability to handle the full spectrum of activities for managing and maintaining physical facilities and infrastructure.
Level Extensive Experience:
• Works with the installation, maintenance and upkeep for a large or multiple facilities.
• Monitors environmental, safety and equipment requirements and conditions.
• Participates in the development of change, contingency and back-up or recovery plans.
• Deals effectively with customers and vendor support staff to resolve routine problems.
• Manages space planning processes and establishes requirements for staff and equipment.
• Monitors processes and procedures for developing and maintaining building security to ensure regulatory compliance.

Supplier Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
Level Extensive Experience:
• Facilitates supplier partnering arrangements that share risk and reward.
• Monitors supplier performance; works to resolve discrepancies between performance and agreements.
• Develops quality standards and controls for suppliers.
• Builds and maintains partnerships with multiple and/or large suppliers.
• Evaluates issues and terminates supplier relationships as appropriate; works with legal departments.
• Ensures the fulfilment of report and record-keeping requirements.
