KeyResponsibilities:
  • Developimplement and manage quality control procedures and policies forgas piping and detectorsystems.
  • Conduct inspections andtests on materials components and finished products to ensureadherence to industry standards andspecifications.
  • Lead quality auditsand assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensurecompliance with relevant codes andregulations.
  • Collaborate withengineering and production teams to address quality issues andimplement corrective and preventiveactions.
  • Oversee the calibration andmaintenance of testing equipment andinstrumentation.
  • Review and analyzequality data to identify trends root causes of defects and areasfor process enhancement.
  • Preparedetailed quality reports and documentation for internal andexternal stakeholders.
  • Ensure propertraining of quality control staff and other relevant personnel onquality standards andprocedures.
  • Act as a liaison betweenthe company and clients to address qualityrelated concerns andensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stayupdated with industry developments standards and best practices tocontinuously improve quality controlpractices.


Requirements
  • Bachelorsdegree in Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • Proven experience (5 years)as a Quality Control Engineer with a focus on gas piping anddetector systems.
  • Strong knowledgeof industry standards and regulations such as ASME API and ISOstandards.
  • Proficiency in qualitycontrol techniques and tools including nondestructive testing (NDT)root cause analysis and statistical process control(SPC).
  • Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills with the ability to manage and interpretcomplex data.
  • Strong leadership andcommunication skills with experience in leading quality controlteams and collaborating with crossfunctionaldepartments.
  • Familiarity withquality management software andsystems.
  • Certification in qualitycontrol or related areas (e.g. Six Sigma CQI) is aplus.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering,or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) as a QualityControl Engineer, with a focus on gas, piping, and detectorsystems. Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations,such as ASME, API, and ISO standards. Proficiency in qualitycontrol techniques and tools, including non-destructive testing(NDT), root cause analysis, and statistical process control (SPC).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the abilityto manage and interpret complex data. Strong leadership andcommunication skills, with experience in leading quality controlteams and collaborating with cross-functional departments.Familiarity with quality management software and systems.Certification in quality control or related areas (e.g., Six Sigma,CQI) is a plus.
