Lead Business Execution Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant. The role requires a strong demonstration on functional and job-specific knowledge required. Accurately process high volumes of work, within established deadlines. Examines and delivers as per the required quality, following the laid down procedures and under guidance. Constructively challenge the usual approach to doing things and find new and better ways to do the job.

Responsibilities:

Use of SharePoint site and MINERVA ((Model Inventory EUCT Risk Validation), along with MINERVA Tableau Reports. Team Member will contact EUCT Process Owners to secure documentation in order to fill out QA templates. Resource will perform QA on completed reviews, along with conducting EUCT reviews.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Lead Business Execution Consultant is a SME role and responsible for providing strategic oversight and governance of the EUCT and Model risk management program. This role requires strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills to drive results.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of regular reports to stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and deliver weekly/monthly/ad hoc reporting from MINERVA ((Model Inventory EUCT Risk Validation) or provided data.
  • Develop distribute PowerPoint reporting templates. Perform QA on reports for missing/incorrect data elements
  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group and enterprise function.
  • Develop and implements risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls. Aggregate, evaluate, report results and escalate where necessary.
  • Collaborate with teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for effective monitoring.
  • Design and executes control effectiveness assurance programs for Front Line-owned controls.
  • Oversee Team operations to ensure activities are carried out efficiently and on schedule.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of team and scope.
  • Review deliverables before passing to LOB and Stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate, test and report on the effectiveness of risk management controls.
  • Develop presentations for senior management, LOB and Stakeholders.
  • Ensure EUCT and Model risk is managed proportionally to the Enterprise policy.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the process.
  • Ensure team is securing documentation from EUCT Process Owners, tracking and following up, along with filling out QA template as per timelines.
  • Ensure upon completion of reviews, team is sharing observations to EUCT owner noting items such as missing, defect and or challenge and following through to resolution
  • Ensure all remediation activities are closed within timelines
  • Provide disposition of results and complete follow-up depending on results (Missing information, Defect and or challenge)
  • Develop and deliver weekly/monthly/ad hoc reporting from MINERVA or provided data
  • Publish Tableau dashboards using Minerva and other data sources
  • Develop engaging data visualization decks to present insights and findings clearly to Senior Management and Stakeholders.
  • Perform QA on reports for missing/incorrect data elements
  • Design and implement governance framework to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Lead strategic initiatives for data governance, including process re-engineering and operational frameworks.
Essential Qualifications:
  • University degree in Business or related discipline
  • 12+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Risk and Compliance management, financial services, reporting and analysis
  • Strong Reporting and Analytics
  • Multi-task to accomplish tasks effectively
  • Knowledge and a broad background in Commercial Banking
  • Good understanding of Operational Risk and Process Risk and Controls
  • Accurately process high volumes of work, within established deadlines
  • Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint
  • Proficient in reporting and presentation skills
  • Knowledge on Tableau, Power BI
