Java Lead Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Java Lead to join our team at PROCONNXT CONSULTANT. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Java development, leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and guide a team of Java developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Design and develop scalable and maintainable Java applications using best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, design patterns, and quality assurance processes.
  • Estimate project timelines and resource requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and problem-solving expertise.
  • Stay updated on the latest Java technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of Java 8 features, including lambda expressions, streams, and functional programming concepts.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Framework components, such as Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
  • Proficiency in developing microservices using Spring Boot and its ecosystem.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
  • Strong knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle for managing project dependencies and automating builds.
  • Experience in designing and developing applications using a microservices architecture.
  • Understanding of BDD principles and tools like Cucumber or JBehave for writing executable specifications.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, and its use cases.
