JobDescription:1.Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands companyscustomer base and ensures its strongpresence.2. Achievegrowth and profitabilitytargets3. Work withthe Business head & marketing mangers sales organization todevelop account strategies with specific objectives and actionitems4. Regularmeetings with key opinion leaders of key customers target accountsand strategically importantprospects5. Gainstrong understanding of overall market dynamics including influenceof regulations on food safety and pharmapackaging6. Growproject pipeline by prospecting identifying and evaluating newopportunities and closingsales7. Gathermarket data and competitive intelligence through customerinteraction key opinion leaders regulatory bodies and othersources8. Developstrong relationships at key customers across variousdepartments9.Participate in the development of corporate strategy for the PANIndia & across globemarket.10.Participate in the negotiation of development and licenseagreements with customers andpartners11. Proposenew business models to maximize the value of our offerings andservices12. Developstrong relationships strategies and alliances with food servicepackaging and food processingspace13. Gather anddrive input for new product development and create business plansappropriately14.Support development of marketing materials and communicationactivities (press releases presentations events tradeshows)15. Attendindustry functions such as association events andconferences16.Regular public speaking presenting being the ambassador of thecompany17.Surveillance of new competing products and competitive landscape bytracking thecompetition
JobSpecification:
  • 10years sales experience in markets related to food or beveragepackaging and ideally materialsscience
  • Ideally:University degree in Life Sciences (microbiology / food technologypackaging) MBA Marketingpreferred
  • Knowledge ofFilling & Packaging Processes andMachines
  • Experienceworking in a global environment RequiredSkills
  • Proven trackrecord of effectively developing sales strategies and deliveringbusiness growth
  • Strongexisting network of pharma & food service executivespurchasing and packagingengineers
  • Diversifiedexperience across multiple fields (e.g. operations quality productdevelopment project management regulatoryaffairs)
  • Excellentverbal and written communication skills to effectively communicateclear vision and value proposition to potentialcustomers
  • Strongtechnical understanding of food safety risk assessment andregulatory requirement (FDA USDA) and other relevant regulatorybodies and regulations such as FSMA andHACCP
  • Existing strongand robust professionalnetwork
  • Used to publicspeaking able to negotiate commitments and timelines from internaland externalparties
