We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in human resources, learning about HR functions, and contributing to the success of our people and culture initiatives.
Job Description: As an HR Intern, you will assist the HR team in various tasks related to recruitment, employee engagement, training, and day-to-day HR operations. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable hands-on experience in the HR field while supporting the implementation of HR policies and practices. You will work closely with HR professionals to gain exposure to different HR functions and learn about key areas such as talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
- Help with onboarding new employees by preparing materials, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR database, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of employee surveys, feedback forms, and performance evaluations.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including organizing team-building activities and employee recognition programs.
- Help manage HR documentation, including maintaining files and records related to employment, benefits, and compliance.
- Assist in organizing training sessions, workshops, and other learning and development programs for employees.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team, such as preparing reports, handling employee inquiries, and assisting with HR projects.
- Assist with compliance-related tasks, including ensuring that HR processes align with legal and organizational standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or experience in an HR or administrative role (preferred but not required).
- Exposure to HRIS systems, recruitment tools, or performance management software is a plus.
- Basic understanding of labour laws and HR best practices.
- Familiarity with employee engagement and organizational development initiatives.

- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent academic experience).
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in HR or people management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with HR software or systems is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and a positive attitude toward feedback and professional growth.
