Roles & Responsibilities:


On-boarding:

  • Helping with the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Preparing onboarding materials and conducting orientation sessions.


Employee Records Management:

  • Assisting with maintaining employee records and files.
  • Ensuring that documentation is updated and compliant with company policies.


Payroll and Benefits Administration:

  • Assisting with payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
  • Answering employee queries related to payroll or benefits.


Employee Engagement and Welfare:

  • Helping organize employee engagement activities like team-building events or wellness programs.
  • Conducting surveys or feedback sessions for employee satisfaction.


Compliance and Reporting:

  • Assisting with compliance tasks, including ensuring that the organization follows labor laws.
  • Helping with the preparation of HR reports and documentation for audits.


Skills Needed:


  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate with candidates, employees, and management.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Time Management: Being able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Confidentiality: Handling sensitive employee information with discretion.
  • Basic Knowledge of HR Practices: A foundational understanding of recruitment, labor laws, and employee relations is helpful.
  • How to Get an HR Intern Role:
  • Education: Most HR internships require at least a high school diploma, though a degree or coursework in HR, business, psychology, or related fields is often preferred.
