Job Summary

Red Hat’s UXE team seeks a dynamic program manager to spearhead the Developer Experience program, championing an efficient and seamless developer experience across platform tools and services. In this role you’ll collaborate closely with developers, stakeholders, and leadership to identify needs and drive continuous improvement, assuming leadership on impactful initiatives alongside stakeholders, development teams, and subject matter experts.

What will you do?

Develop a strategic roadmap for the Developer Experience program in collaboration with engineers and leaders.

Utilize multiple research and feedback methods to understand developers' needs and pain points in daily operations such as deployments and development. 

Track and deliver status reports on evolving high-level goals, ensuring team engagement and stakeholder alignment within agreed timeframes.

Design and execute a multi-tiered communication strategy that engages end users and organizational leadership, ensuring effective information dissemination and alignment at all levels.

Operate within an inclusive meritocracy to solve problems effectively and efficiently.

Support a diverse team of engineers and designers by driving and prioritizing strategic goals, OKRs, demos, and requirements.

What will you bring?

3+ years of technical program management experience.

3+ years of cross-functional collaboration experience, fostering collaboration in a community setting.

Strong understanding of modern software development processes and technologies, including developer tools, APIs, and platforms.

Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe.

Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence; experience with ServiceNow is a plus.

Desire to work in an open organization, with open-source participation a big plus.
