Reporting To: Director Operations

Location: Jamnagar

Department: Quality Control

No. of reportees: 10-12

Position Summary:

Quality Manager will be responsible for the complete quality assurance system. That will include in-process quality, incoming quality & finished Goods Quality.He should be able to lead and improve the quality systems with best quality management practices.He will be leading a team on engineers and managers of quality department.He shall be responsible for customer satisfaction as well.

Responsibilities:

To Implement the Quality assurance plans for in-house manufacturing, outsourcing & Job Work. To Prepare Quality Manual, Procedures, Control Plans, SOP,WI & Formats as per standard requirements. To Monitor and improve COPQ. To promote & deploy TQM concepts like 5S, QC Circles, Systematic problem solving techniques, SPC etc. Initiate & monitor Internal Audit Program and Supervise periodic Internal Audits in order to ensure effective deployment of Quality Systems. Responsible to handle the customer complaints ,investigating root cause analysis ,corrective and preventive actions. Communicate and coordinate with customers & Global team for product concerns. Annual Quality Improvement Plan preparation and implementation to achieve Quality Targets Monitoring rejection analysis and take corrective actions. To actively participate in new product developments & achieve ZERO DEFECT during product launch. Direct, lead & motivate team and impart continuous on job training for accomplishing greater operational effectiveness.

Skills Required:

Good knowledge of various manufacturing processes like Sheet Metal Press shop, Machining , Grinding & Polishing, Elctroplating, PVD, Paint shop, Lacquer, Pressure Die Casting. Hand on experience of various QC Tools, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc. Proficient in English Communication skills (Writing /Speaking) Leadership Skill Good Analytical skill Quick decision maker

Educational Qualification and Experience:

B.E/B.Tech with 12-15 years of experience Preferred experience of working in Metal components , Faucets & Hardware industries.
