JobDescription:

  • As GlobalHeavy Lift Manager Transport & Logistics Manager you areresponsible for communicating and driving the implementation of theTrade Transport & Logistics (TT&L) strategy withinthe organization in close alignment and collaboration withinterfacing functions. You will act as changeagent and support thesuccessful rollout and seamless implementation of new TT&Lprojects tools and processes and drive the implementation of bestpractices to ensure Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and serviceoptimization. Furthermore you will deliver on the KPIs and drivethe continuous improvement of processes tools and services byleading the regional Heavy Lift Transportation teams across theTransformers organization.

Yourbackground

  • BachelorsDegree in Supply Chain Mechanical Engineering Logistics Managementor Maritime Engineering or equivalent knowledge orexperience.
  • More than 15 years of experience inInternational Transportation Management and/or Freight Forwardingincl.
  • Heavy Lift operations(Knowledge oftransportation methods such as mode of transports and design fortransportation in heavy lift projects costs and benefits andknowledge of transportation rules andregulations).
  • Experience inGeneral CargoTransportation Management.
  • Fluent in Englishother languages are a plus
  • Advanced desktopcomputer skills including PowerPoint Microsoft Excel and Outlookrequired.
  • Proven business/financial acumenincluding demonstrated ability to motivate influence solve complexproblems.
  • Passionate change leader withoutstanding interpersonal and leadership skills capable ofinfluencing and driving a strategic change agenda across theorganization at all levels
  • Proven to beeffective driving outcomes in large matrixed organizationsunderstands how to navigate geographies cultures relationshipsetc.
  • Proven ability to work on crossfunctionalmulticultural teams.
  • Excellent communicationinfluencing and collaboration skills required to manage a multitudeof internal and external customers andpartners.
  • Strong team player who possessesexcellent analytical skills with the capability to transform datainto actionable plans to identify and explain critical issues toidentify and challengeassumptions
