What you’ll do..

Reporting into Lead - Talent Sourcing, as an individual contributor, you would be responsible for

Working closely with global recruiters while driving a consultative and influential approach to understand business needs and deliver qualified talent accordinglyStrategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute researchDriving hiring for niche functions including product, technology to support fast-paced business growthResearch market and trends for company mapping and present the detailed findings to stakeholders per need basis.Work on ad-hoc projects involving research work on talent mapping across MongoDB’s competitors.Develop a strong understanding of the MongoDB tech stack and a familiarity with the needs of all Engineering teams.Serving as a strategic liaison between the Diversity Recruiting Enablement function and the broader sourcing team to support projects and events focused on increasing top-of-funnel pipeline representation for high-priority roles.Building a diverse talent community of prospects for consideration for future rules. Sharing resumes of qualified candidates with the respective recruiter/sourcer for the role; proactively identifying alternative roles for active or passive candidates who may not be a direct fit for a current opening.Recommend ideas and strategies related to sourcing and recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within MongoDB's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customerUtilize all sourcing channels such as niche sites, professional and social networking sites/groups, and possible search engines to locate both active and passive candidates; conduct resume mining and research for internal positions; build candidate lists into Candidate Resource Management systemProactively connect with top talent and build a strong talent pipeline for critical business functions and reduce time to hireParticipates in team-wide initiatives and projects

We’re looking for someone with

5+ years of experience working with and building sourcing strategies with Recruiters and hiring managers with an in-house recruiting teamExperience in sourcing/hiring for the North America regionAdvanced experience using LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing and talent researchA consultative approach and strong understanding of technologyExcellent research/sourcing skills with the ability to search for hard-to-fill reqsPast experience sourcing a diverse talent pool for a wide variety of technical functions via creative and innovative sourcing methodologies.Experience working across numerous stakeholders to drive projects to completion; an ability to lead without direct authority to achieve outcomes cross-functionally.Experience with social-media hiring (Linkedin, Twitter, FB etc.) and other sourcing channels Github, Stackoverflow/Seekout. Familiarity with Gem CRM and Greenhouse ATS is preferred.Robust interpersonal skills with a strong track record of successMust have worked in a high-pressure environment that is driven by business-priorities and stakeholder enabling scenariosOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsComputer Science or a related bachelor’s degree
