Job Description

This is a remote position.

Requirement Analysis & Test Automation:

• Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts and Engineering team on requirement gathering, analysis and feasibility of automation to ensure the highest quality software is delivered in each iteration.
• Design test processes and procedures used to ensure that solution operates within defined requirements.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Implement test plans, automation, and validation strategies.
• Be an advocate for automation, assess prospective automation candidates and provide guidance to project team on the benefits.
• In depth functional testing – Must be able to evaluate functional stability to ensure business requirements are being met and are “fit-for-purpose” through end to end functional and automation testing
• Understand process workflows and incorporate that knowledge into the test plans.
• Design and build test setups and test plans including detailed test cases to provide sufficient test coverage for performance, functionality and system regression testing traceable to system requirements, scheduled releases, and hotfixes. This role will cover management of test cases, bug management, and relevant reporting.
• Clearly communicate any obstacles to raise awareness and avoid project impediments and overall project timeline disruption.
• Participate in user story creation process through dissection of high-level requirements during team review sessions.

Team, Knowledge Sharing & Documentation:

• Write clear, detailed, concise documentation—workflow diagrams, test plans, automated test design, and test scripts
• Able to clearly articulate breadth of topics such Automation tools & frameworks, Test strategy, Test cases and Test Setup.
• Independent, positive, and proactive approach to problem-solving within a team
• Ability to successfully handle multiple value streams across multiple programs, while maintaining composure and professionalism to meet tight deadlines and shifting priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6 plus years of industry experience with minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance roles with automation testing experience.
• QA Expert in the Salesforce.com platform
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Solid knowledge of testing integrations, end-to-end system processes.
• Experience with latest tools (Tricentis, Browser stack, Accessibe) and best practices in Quality Assurance
• Proficient in Application Life Cycle Management tools such as Atlassian JIRA (preferably)
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplined, cross-department environment.
• Support of test and performance optimization to increase the quality of the run-time environment / the application.
• Passion for automation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to think outside the box.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
