Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Supply Chain Analytics, Retail

In this role, we are looking for a Supply Chain Analytics Leader with deep domain expertise and experience of Supply Chain Analytics in Retail and Merchandising. Responsibility will be across solutioning, consulting, delivery, managed services.

Responsibilities

·Lead the SCM Analytics team wrt solutioning, delivery, managed services for Forecasting, Demand planning, Capacity Planning, Inventory management, Supply Planning, Logistics, Procurement

·Consulting w/ CPG/Life Science majors solving their Supply Chain business problems.

·Lead assessments / blueprinting / due diligence for prioritization problem statements, planning offshore ability, building solution architecture.

·Build PoVs, help structure POCs, is client front-ending, is a story-boarder, can respond to RFP/RFIs

·Work on Digital Transformation (data strategy incl orchestration, Governance, Architecture, BI to build reporting/insights/analytics factory)

·Design Analytical solutions around Demand Forecasting, Inventory Optimization, Network Planning, Capacity Planning, or other Supply Chain functional areas.

·Work closely with global client’s multiple cross functional team to identify business needs, requirements and prioritize needs

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

·MBA/ PG in Operations and Supply Chain Management

·Has worked in the Supply Chain – Life Sciences / CPG space with hands on experience in area of Demand Planning/Supply Planning/Inventory Management/Logistics in Retail / Merchandising

·Work experience of relevant years in Supply Chain, in Retail and Merchandising

·Strong exposure in ERPs – SAP, JDE, Oracle etc.

·Hands on experience in Supply Chain areas like Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Logistics

·Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amount of data with attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

·Proficiency with Microsoft Applications - Excellent MS excel, PowerPoint skills is a must

·Support client engagements till 12:30 PM EST

·Handle large datasets – Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using statistical techniques and generate actionable insights

·Good team player and ability to manage large teams

·Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations

·Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations

·Ability to learn different analytical tools as per business requirements.

·Has a mix of modeling & programming experience & led analytics delivery.

·Design Supply Chain Analytical solutions – Define KPIs and metrics and develop BI solutions

·Superb communication and negotiation skills

·Good knowledge on various statistical forecasting and inventory optimization techniques
