JOB DESCRIPTION JobDescription Summary The supervisorensures Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) erection according with GEhighest standards of health safety and quality and in a manner thatsafeguards the Environment to deliver to the customer a productwith highest quality. Job Description
  • Promotesafe working practices and continual improvement in GE Grid sitesafely culture
  • Responsible and accountable forthe overall quality and integrity of the build process for the GISinstallation / maintenance
  • Responsible for theraising submission and site closure of product based NCPs (Nonconformity project)
  • Responsible for theliaison between the GIS product unit and the Service units clientof over GIS Product and installation issues
  • Responsible for the ontime production of reports overproject progress and product issues to GIS PL Projectmanager.
  • Shared responsibility for evaluationappraisals and reviews of GE or subcontractors technicians andapprentices
  • Responsible for the dailymanagement and setting to work of field resource in order tomaximize the potential for project success by effective andefficient operation of the GIS Installation Team ensuring that allagreed work is carried out in accordance with the preset timescales and costs
