Candidate expertise in detaileddesign of electrical substation facilities including Single LineDiagram Protection Single Line diagram General Arrangement layoutSectional Layout Erection key diagram Direct Stroke Lightningprotection LT AC/DC diagrams Lighting ground mat design Power OneLine diagram schematic diagrams wiring diagrams Panel GA drawingBOM of P&C Panel LT AC/DC diagrams. Preparation of project specifications for material and equipmentpurchase and installation. Preliminary anddetailed design engineering for renewable energy and batterystorage electrical collection systems Preliminary and detailed design engineering for transmission andgen tie lines Act as Engineer of Record tooversee design process. Perform andoversee electrical power systems studies using ETAP SKM PSS/E ASPENand other software programs as may be necessary to support thedesign and interconneciton coordination processes. Delivery of accurate and thorough designs that willmeet industry standards and specifications and meet goodengineering practice with excellent constructability. Review of internal and external designs for codecompliance good design practice and constructability. Resolving site queries during the construction phase ofprojects. Maintaining complete projectdocumentation with respect to substation design and constructionincluding all completion packages asbuilt requirements and returndata information. Making and maintainingappropriate commitments to project teams and coordinating designactivities with multidisciplined project team members. Maintaining good working relationships with internalgroups that support projects. Maintaininggood working relationships with material suppliers contractors andany others that affect the quality schedule and cost ofprojects. Mentoring and providing guidanceto developing engineers within the department. Exercise responsible andethical decisionmaking regarding company funds resources andconduct and adhere to WSPs Code of Conduct and related policies andprocedures.
