OGA Fin IT-Opx team works to develop applications for Finance and Quality team. Each resource works with end user to understand requirement and provide accounting solution.

This position has responsibility and capability to work on understanding requirements from business and review/validate accounting rules applied in Peoplesoft General ledger. Analyst will work to research accounting issues as they arise & provide recommended solutions and work well in a team.

Primary Responsibilities:

Tests and validates system changesNeed to support for onshore hours during month endResearch accounting issues as they arise and provide recommendations for solutionsDocument the process flow for usability of applicationStructure large data sets to find usable informationWork with a team of developers to process informationInvestigate and provide feedback on accounting irregularitiesCollaborate with team members to collect and analyze dataActively involved with the automation of manual processesBe able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlinesDevelops understanding of cost, complexity, and capability tradeoffs in underlying architecturesComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in Peoplesoft General ledger, accounting & analytics using Excel, Power Query, VBA and or basic SQL Hands-on experience excel and managing the excel template for VBAProven experience in Peoplesoft General ledger, accounting & analytics using Excel, Power Query, VBAProven experience driving business performance in a high growth environmentExperience using database tools and spreadsheet software such as SQL and ExcelUnderstanding of Peoplesoft GL and accounting conceptsProven critical math skills and a proven ability to difficult calculationsProven attention to detail, prioritization skill and time managementProven self-motivated and solid analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accountingProven quick learner with a positive attitudeProven solid verbal and oral communication skills
