Manager Testing
Reports to : Director
Location : Bangalore 

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Test Automation Manager to lead our mobile testing automation 
efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile application testing, test automation, 
and leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of test automation engineers. The Mobile Test 
Automation Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile 
applications across different platforms.

Responsibilities: 
• Develop and implement a comprehensive mobile test automation strategy.
• Define test automation goals, objectives, and timelines.
• Lead and mentor a team of mobile test automation engineers.
• Provide guidance on best practices, coding standards, and testing methodologies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Design, develop, and maintain a scalable and efficient mobile test automation framework.
• Ensure the framework supports multiple mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and devices.
• Collaborate with product owners to design and develop automated test cases for mobile 
applications.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify and report defects.
• Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) 
pipelines.
• Ensure test automation is seamlessly integrated with the software development lifecycle.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA 
teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Define and implement quality assurance processes for mobile testing automation.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards.
• Proactively identifies issues, driving them to closure, escalating to leadership as needed.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities and leverages team members to implement 
solutions.
• Drive efforts to increase efficiency and effectiveness of automation.
• Nurtures the culture for innovation.
• Able to influence others without authority to drive decision-making and solutions.
• Successfully multi-tasks across project and non-project assignments, delivering on time with 
minimal direction on priority.

Qualifications

Qualifications: 
• 12+ years of experience in the testing domain.
• Min 6+ years of experience in mobile test automation
• Minimum 3 years of experience in managing people and projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in mobile test automation, with a focus on iOS and Android platforms.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java.
• Experience developing mobile test automation frameworks like Appium.
• Solid understanding of mobile application development and testing practices.
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
