Role Overview:
As a Conversion API Strategist (MAP), you will play a pivotal role in influencing the sales
process, guiding customers to choose our Conversions API as their solution for enhanced data collection and measurement. You will leverage your expertise in digital marketing and analytics to demonstrate the value and advantages of our Conversions API, ensuring it aligns with the customers' marketing objectives and data strategies. Your role involves collaborating closely with the sales team to drive the adoption of our Conversions API, providing strategic insights, and ensuring a seamless integration for the customers.
Responsibilities:
•Partner with the sales team to understand customer needs and present the Conversions
API as the optimal solution.
•Influence the sales process by demonstrating the benefits and technical advantages of
ourConversions API over other market solutions.
•Conduct detailed analysis of customers' existing data collection and measurement
practices to identify improvement areas.
•Provide strategic recommendations to customers on integrating and optimizing the
Conversions API to meet their marketing objectives.
•Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling sales pitches and materials that
highlight the strengths of the Conversions API.
•Assist customers with the technical setup and configuration of the Conversions API,
ensuring a smooth implementation.
•Monitor and troubleshoot any issues during the integration process, ensuring high-
quality data collection and performance.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor solutions to
effectively position our Conversions API in the market.
•Provide ongoing support and training to customers, ensuring they maximize the benefits
of the Conversions API.
•Track and report on the progress of sales engagements and customer adoption of the
Conversions API.Basic Qualifications
•At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing, web analytics, or a related field.
•Proven track record of influencing sales processes and driving the adoption of technical
solutions.
•Strong knowledge of MarketingTechnologies and first-party data collection.
•Experience with Google Tag Manager and other tagging platforms (Tealium, Adobe).
•Familiarity with web and API development (JavaScript, JSON).
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively with sales and internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications
•Familiarity with event tracking and measurement solutions, such as Conversion
Tracking, Website Demographics, and Campaign Manager.
•Experience with other Conversions API products (e.g., Meta, Snap, Pinterest).
•Knowledge of best practices for event tracking and measurement across various
industries.
Key Skills & Competencies:
•Sales Influence:Ability to persuasively demonstrate the value of the Conversions API to
customers and influence their decision-making process.
•Technical Proficiency:Strong understanding of web analytics, digital marketing
technologies, and first-party data collection methods.
•Tag Management Expertise:Experience with platforms like Google Tag Manager,
Tealium, and Adobe for website data collection and management.
• API Development and Troubleshooting:Knowledge of web and API development
(Javascript, JSON) and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
•Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze customers' data collection practices and provide
strategic recommendations for improvement.
•Communication Skills:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written
and verbal, for effective customer interaction and collaboration with sales teams.
•Customer-Centric Approach:Understand and address customer needs and
expectations, providing tailored solutions and support.
•Collaboration:Work closely with sales and internal teams to develop sales strategies
and materials.
•Self-Motivation and Independence:Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work
independently to drive customer adoption of the Conversions API.•Problem-Solving:Strong problem-solving skills to assist customers with the integration
and optimization of the Conversions API.
•Adaptability:Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, technologies, and customer
requirements.
•Project Management:Ability to track and report on sales engagements and customer
progress, ensuring transparency and alignment with sales goals.
