Overview:The SAP ABAPwith RAP position is crucial for developing and maintaining SAPsolutions in the organization. The role is responsible fordesigning building and testing highquality SAP ABAP programs andinterfaces utilizing the latest SAP technologies to meet businessrequirements.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Develop and enhanceSAP applications using ABAP programminglanguage
  • Design build and implement ABAPbasedreports interfaces and forms
  • Create andoptimize ABAP code for performance andscalability
  • Collaborate with functional andtechnical teams to understand business requirements and providetechnical solutions
  • Implement and customize SAPFiori applications using ABAPprogramming
  • Utilize ABAP Development Workbenchfor development and customizationactivities
  • Perform debugging andtroubleshooting of ABAP programs andinterfaces
  • Ensure adherence to ABAP bestpractices and coding standards
  • Conduct ABAPunit testing and support integration and user acceptancetesting
  • Manage and maintain SAP HANA databaseobjects and SAP RAP applications
  • Providetechnical documentation and knowledge transfer to supportteams
  • Participate in continuous improvementinitiatives and provide technicalexpertise
  • Collaborate with SAP functionalconsultants to deliver comprehensivesolutions
  • Support SAP module implementationsand upgrades
  • Provide technical guidance andmentoring to junior ABAPdevelopers
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or relatedfield
  • 5 years of experience in SAP ABAPprogramming with RAP (ABAP RESTful ApplicationProgramming)
  • Strong knowledge of objectorientedABAP programming (OO ABAP)
  • Proficiency in SAPABAP Development Workbench and SAP Fioriprogramming
  • Experience in optimizing ABAP codefor performance and scalability
  • Solidunderstanding of SAP HANA and database integration with SAPABAP
  • Proven experience in debugging andtroubleshooting complex ABAP programs andinterfaces
  • Handson experience in ABAP unittesting and testdriven development
  • Ability towork in a collaborative team environment and communicateeffectively with stakeholders
  • Strongproblemsolving skills and ability to analyze and resolve technicalissues
  • Knowledge of SAP module integration andunderstanding of business processes inSAP
  • Certification in SAP ABAP development ispreferred
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills
  • Ability to multitask andprioritize in a fastpaced and dynamicenvironment
  • Adaptability and willingness tolearn new SAP technologies andadvancements
