Job Description
Software Developer - SAP BTP (3 to 5 years exp)As a developer primary responsibility is - development and support of applications and extensions built on BTP or other clean core technologies like SAP Build, SAP BTP ABAP environment, etc.Tasks for this role include:
Develop next generation SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP applications and extensions, frequently iterate with our internal and external stakeholders
Delivering projects in Agile/Scrum Methodology
Participate in project quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents and code reviews
Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure successful project completion
Continually enhance existing skills and seek new areas for personal developmentSkills Requirements:3+ years of hands-on development experience on SAP S/4HANA1+ years of experience on SAP BTPProgramming languages and skills: ABAP, Java or JavaScript (in Side-by-Side and Core scenarios)UI development experience with HTML5, SAPUi5/FioriDevelopment experience with one or more BTP extension technologies:
Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
SAP S/4HANA Cloud ABAP Environment (Embedded Steampunk)
Low-Code/No-Code platform for Citizen Development
Workflow Management
Knowledge of databases features (HANA)
Certified and hands on experience in AI/ML
Strong exposure to BTP and azure/AWS platforms
Should have worked as lead/architect building enterprise domain led AI/ML apps.Lifecycle knowledge for AI/ML apps is desirableWorking knowledge of tools:
SAP ABAP Development Tools (ADT)
SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)
SAP Build Apps is a plusExperienced with the generic web development stack and standard web development technologiesUnderstanding of the BTP platform business values, technical architecture, and catalogue of servicesFamiliarity with platform services generally used for technical tasks, like Audit Log, HANA Cloud, Notifications, Cloud Foundry, CI/CD, SAP Business Application Studio, Transport Management, and connectivity.QualificationsResource should have an Professional graduation in Engineering or equivalent qualification
Additional Associated degree preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
