OverviewAs an SAP MDGConsultant you will play a critical role in implementing andcustomizing the SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solution to meetthe organizations data management needs. You will work closely withstakeholders to understand business requirements design data modelsand configure the SAP MDG system to ensure accurate and consistentmaster data across the enterprise. Your expertise in SAP ERP anddata governance will be essential in driving the successfuladoption and utilization of the SAP MDGsolution.Keyresponsibilities
  • Collaborate withbusiness stakeholders to gather and analyze master datarequirements.
  • Design and implement data modelsand data governance processes within SAPMDG.
  • Customize SAP MDG to support data qualityand data governance rules.
  • Configure businessrules workflows and data validations in SAPMDG.
  • Integrate SAP MDG with other SAP modulesand external systems.
  • Provide expertise in SAPERP data structures and integration points with SAPMDG.
  • Participate in system testing datamigration and enduser training for SAPMDG.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance andoptimization of SAP MDG solutions.
  • Identify andresolve issues related to master data quality andconsistency.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to align master data strategies with businessobjectives.
  • Create and maintain documentationfor SAP MDG configurations andcustomizations.
  • Stay updated on SAP MDG bestpractices and new features to drive continuousimprovement.
  • Contribute to global datagovernance initiatives and standards.
  • Providementorship and guidance to junior consultants on SAP MDG bestpractices.
  • Communicate effectively with keystakeholders and project teams to ensure successful projectdelivery.
Requiredqualifications
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Systems or relatedfield.
  • Proven experience in implementing andcustomizing SAP MDG solutions.
  • Indepthknowledge of data modeling concepts and data governanceprinciples.
  • Strong understanding of SAP ERPmodules and their integration with SAPMDG.
  • Proficiency in ABAP programming forcustomizing SAP MDG solutions.
  • Experience withdata migration strategies and tools within SAPenvironments.
  • Ability to analyze complexbusiness processes and develop solutions within SAPMDG.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonalskills for engaging with business stakeholders and projectteams.
  • Certifications in SAP MDG or related SAPmodules is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to workeffectively in a collaborative teamorientedenvironment.
  • Problemsolving skills andattention to detail for resolving data managementissues.
  • Understanding of master data bestpractices and industry standards.
  • Ability tomanage multiple priorities and deliver highquality results withinproject timelines.
  • Adaptability to changes andwillingness to learn new technologies andmethodologies.
  • Strong analytical anddecisionmaking skills for driving successful SAP MDGimplementations.
