A Senior Technical Writer at BrowserStack:
Builds high-quality technical content in easy-to-understand plain, clear, and simple language in an attempt to continuously improve BrowserStack documentation Creates templates for other writers to leverage Contributes to setting process and building the style guide Independently owns the documentation roadmap for assigned BrowserStack products Works with Product Managers, the Design team, and Engineering to build documentation for their product Develops a solid understanding of the product by trying, testing, and simulating user behavior with the content Sets up IDEs and debugs a few lines of code Translates code snippets in one programming language to other programminglanguages.

Technical Skills:
A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals 3-7 years of experience in building technical developer documentation in technology companies Sound knowledge of version control tools like Git, software development lifecycle, DevOps tools like Jenkins and test practices (does not have to be in a professional context) Comfortable with IDEs (VSCode), APIs, and programming language (any) to understand the concepts and convert to user-understandable formats Can read and understand code in any one language. Should be able to use tools like Google to translate code into other languages Has working experience of Markdown Impeccable writing and editing skillSoft Skills:
Be a team player - work with our world-class engineers and designers to come up with creative and elegant solutions to complex problems.
