CLUB MANAGER

JOBDESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

The Club Manager will play a vital rolein
ensuring the smooth and efficient runningof
the daytoday operations of the Club. They
will be responsible for developing
an annual operatingplan ensuring that
effective ods and policies are put inplace
and maintained so that the cluboperates
optimally and maximizesproductivity.
The Club Manager will be expected toharness
a working environment whichencourages
teamwork energy and creativity. Toachieve
this they should have strongleadership
excellent problemsolving ss andvery
strong communication ss. The position
contributes to the development and
implementation oforganizational strategies
policies and practices tocontinually improve
the member experience/ enjoyment ofthe
club wherever and whenever possible. The
Club Manager will ensure that the staff they
recruit aremember focused and will be
capable and willing tosupport or improve this
ethos also.

Operational Duties:
To initiate and deliveractivities to
attract new members and toincrease
the number of visitors in line withthe

Club Business Plan.

Provide and maintain the highest level
ofcustomer service in a highvolume
retail environmentthrough your own
personal actions and developmentof
your staff.

Provide effectivedecisionmaking
regarding customer issues.
Plan and promote special events for the
Clubmonthly.
Develop Events calendar and push for
member participation.
Hold weekly departmentmeetings
which includes customer service
manager head of group exercise

head trainerand maintenance
superviser

Inspect facility daily for cleanliness using
the Clubdaily walkthrough list.
Responsible for ensuring thatthe facility
is clean and operationallysound.
Ensure the functionality of equipment
with the maintenance department on a
monthly basis usingthe equipment
maintenance checklist.
Interface with retail vendors and service
contractors

Sales Duties:

Hire train and develop sales staff.
Motivatesales staff and monitor their
sales levels by using theelished
protocols and sales systems.
Holddaily meetings with sales teams
and oversee salesstrategy status
pending pipeline andconversion
Develop new pipeline by overseeing
club presentation salespitch corporate
tie upsetc.
Oversee special events and programs
heldat the club from time to time.
Maintain and directtraining and
development of Club sales staff.
Elish and maintain an active referral
system with thesales team.
Audit sales team monthly.
Submitmonthly game plan for training
promotions
anddepartment meetings to Chief
Operating Officer / GeneralManager

Key Ss

Management Duties:

Manage monitor evaluate the
performance of alldepartment heads/
vertical heads.
Monitor thehiring training and
scheduling of all Club levelstaff.
Communicate with Clublevel
employeesthrough staff meetings.
Attend and participate inmeetings with

Management.

Properly delegate monitor and evaluate
specifically igned responsibilities of
team.
Properly manage and maintain
operationalbudgets.
Ensure that all staff is adhering tostaff
uniform policy including uniform at all
times when on duty.
Responsible for managingdisciplinary
actions involving all Club level
employees.
Responsible for monitoring allincident
reports filed at Club involvingmembers
and staff.
Approves all schedules ofeach Club
department.
Control payroll coststo fall within
projected budget.
Prepareaudit and submit payroll to
Head office.
Administers the Companys policies and
procedures.
Submit all new hire andtermination
information to Head Office asrequired
by HR department.
Ensure disciplineof staff at the club is
being maintained andmonitored.
Ensure cleanliness and effectivenessof
club area and resources.
Maintain positiverelationships with
vendors staff members andother
partners

Must have apositive attitude and be
able to motivate staff in apositive
manner.
Possess good leadershipqualities.

new systems as Companycontinues
to grow.
Must have thoroughunderstanding of
facility operations as definedby
company standards.
Comprehensive knowledgeof all
facility
operational sales andmanagement
systems
k. Proficient in the useof all software
programs that are utilized atthe
facility
Proven experience as a ClubManager
/ Sr Manager in a similar domain is
preferred.

Management BusinessAdministration
Physical Education or a related field isan
