Position Summary:
The Associate Director Strategy and Learning will workdirectly with the Executive Director and engage at a strategiclevel with all teams within LLF. The incumbent will be responsiblefor designing strategy and roadmaps for projects and teams managingwork across multiple areas and supporting in the process ofbusiness development. This role is ideally suited to someone whoenjoys intellectual challenges and thrives in a fastpacedenvironment.
KeyResponsibilities:
OrganizationalDevelopment:
- Collaboratewith the Founder and Senior Leadership on developing the strategicplan/framework for the organization and the associated operatingplan.
- Managekey organizational processes for executing LLFs strategy includingstrategic reviews on a monthly and quarterly basis board meetingsand externalmeetings.
- Supportthe Founder by researching and synthesizing the latest findings orother relevant material to define or develop different areas withinLLF.
- Solvekey strategic questions for the organization and assist seniorleadership in building and developing LLFs workareas.
- Createand maintain crosscollaboration and integration between horizontalsand verticals to enable leadershipsuccess.
- Driveoperational support and provide strategic inputs on highprofileprojects.
BusinessDevelopment:
- Support the Fundraising (FR) teamin building a business development plan in coordination with thestate program team including expansion plans to newgeographies.
- Developproposals with program teams and coordinate with state agencies andfundraisingteam/donors.
- Assistin fundraising efforts including strategizing with LLF US Charityand reporting to marquee donors.
Qualifications andExperience:
Mastersdegree.
- 12 to 20 years ofrelevant experience and a track record of high achievement inconsulting strategy or businessdevelopment.
- Experienceworking with Senior Management and driving intrapreneurialprojects.
DesiredQualities:
Goodcommunication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English andHindi.
- Operating stylesuited to a smallorganization setting valuing teamwork andresourcefulness.
Stronganalytical problemsolving and presentationskills.
- Excellentleadership skills including the ability to manage multiple projectssimultaneously.
