We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in the education industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing sales operations in a specific geographic area, managing a team of sales representatives, and developing strategies to increase sales and market share.
Responsibilities:
. Manage and lead a team of sales representatives within the designated area
. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets
. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
. Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth
. Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance their performance
. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with company objectives
. Monitor and report on sales activities and performance within the area
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the education industry
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred
Requirements
Quick to action, positive and goal oriented Fluent in spoken and written communication in English & Tamil . Fluency in other languages would be an added advantage Conversant in using MS Office tools Should have had 2 - 6 years experience in B2B Sales in Ed Tech industry
