We are seeking a talented and motivated Textile Merchandiser to join our Manufacturing Company in Coimbatore. As a Textile Merchandiser you will play a crucial role in managing and executing the product development cycle, from initial concept to final production. This is a full-time position, perfect for someone passionate about textiles and eager to contribute to a fast-paced and growing organization.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of textiles (Mandatory skill)
  • Market research
  • Product development: Experience in managing the product lifecycle and translating concepts into tangible products.
  • Supply chain management: Understanding of global supply chain operations and logistics.
  • Negotiation skills: Ability to negotiate contracts, prices, and timelines efficiently.
  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data to inform product strategy and decision-making.
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to liaise effectively with teams and external partners.
  • Attention to detail: Keen attention to consistency, quality, and accuracy in product specifications and documentation.
  • Candidates should have textile industry experience

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely and cost-effective production of textiles.
  • Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive products.
  • Manage product development processes from concept through to delivery, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, production schedules, and delivery dates with vendors to meet business objectives.
  • Analyze sales data and market feedback to recommend product improvements and inform future collections.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements before market release.
  • Collaborate closely with design, marketing, and supply chain teams for seamless product launches.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure optimal stock availability.
