Job Description

VueJs Developer / NodeJS Developer / JEST Unit Test Engineer – 2 yrs to 5 yrs

Number of Positions: 1

Location: Chennai, INDIA

The developer should be proficient in developing and managing either Front end development or Backend development  or Unit Testing. Your primary focus will be to adhere to the development specification on server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end OR Integrating the front-end elements built by you / your co-workers into the application OR Knowledge in writing unit test cases using JEST framework

 Essential Job Responsibilities for NodeJS / VueJS Developer

  • Development of Node.js / vue.js projects meeting the standards and follow the best practices
  • Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code 
  •  Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
  •  Implementation of security and data protection

Essential Job Responsibilities for JEST Unit Testing Engineer

  • Knowledge in using JEST framework for unit testing
  • Proficient in creating unit test cases using JEST or Mocha to ensure Code Coverage of 100%

     Essential Job Responsibilities (Common)

  • Should have worked in agile model

  • Experience in Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery is added advantage
  • Should be able to work independently and as a team
  • Coordinate with client directly for technical and functional requirements
  • Good and transparent reporting to Manager
  •  Should have experience in estimation, planning and prioritizing the tasks
  •  Good communication with Technical & Solution architect listening and providing suggestions
  •  Strong problem resolving skills
  •  Have passion in learning faster in newer JS frameworks and implement them in projects
  • Focus in knowledge management and provide training on latest trends and practises
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines


Requirements
  • Should have very strong technical background in Vue.js OR Node.js OR Angular.js OR JEST Unit Testing based application development.
  • Must have worked 2 – 3 projects in the above technology and deployed the application successfully in live
  • Should have a experience handling the version controller
  • Good knowledge in SQL and database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
  • Integration of data storage solutions may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc. Familiarity in using Sequelize for database ORM handling with Node.js is essential (For NodeJS Developers)
  • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Usage of material design component framework like vuetify (For VueJS Developers)
  • Highly proficient with Vue.js framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM (For VueJS Developers)
  • Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router (For VueJS Developers)
  • Familiarity with Source Code document(JSDoc) and Source code review (ESLint)
  • Coordinate with Developers & QA Engineer in writing Unit Test Cases satisfying the user story (For JEST Unit Test Engineer)
  • Should have a experience in project management tools
