Your Responsibilities:
Strategy Implementsthe Global Product Group strategy in the HUB and ensures businessdevelopment including profit and loss (P&L) in domestic andallocated market. Provides input to Global Product Group strategy.Participates in HUB Business Unit strategy development inpartnership with HUB management team. Implement & Drive theGlobal Business Unit and Global Product group strategy in theoperating unit with HUB collaboration and guidance.
Performance targets Ensures development of performance targets inline with global targets and ensures achievement through regularoversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. Achievethe financial as well as operational performance target set forindividual units. Work on continuous improvement to achieveoperational excellence and cost savings on the whole value chain toimprove the bottomline performance. Drive the culture ofperformance within the organization.
Marketopportunities Evaluates market opportunities and decidesappropriate activities in line with the strategy.
Profitability Ensures profitable business growth in the domesticand allocated market. Ensure profitable business growth in linewith the targets set by the HUB. Continuously work on the avenuesto drive cost reduction and meet the competitive businesschallenges.
Quality Oversees production and/or executionof highquality products services and processes. Monitors qualitymetrics identifies opportunities for improvement in local executionand oversees improvement activities. Drive the culture of Qualitywithin the operating unit. Implement and use all the tools &processes available within the organization for improvement ofQuality.
Project execution Ensures the execution ofprojects according to agreed targets in terms of schedule qualityfinancial results and customer satisfaction.
Research& development support relevant Research and Developmentinitiatives. Collaborate with local & global R&D team toensure that the R&D activities and plans are aligned to themidterm and longterm strategy of the BU.
Customerrelations Builds and maintains strong relationships with new andexisting customers to ensure ongoing customersatisfaction.
Knowledge: Bachelor/Master of Technology/Engineering from a reputed university. Strategic & resultorientation Indepth knowledge of Market & customers.
Skills Required: Insight on Safety & Quality Teamwork andCollaboration People Development Personal & Change LeadershipIntercultural Sensitivity & Effectiveness. Customer engagement& relations
Experience: Minimum 5 years ofexperience in handling a Profit & Loss business. overall 15 yrsexperience in electrical Industry.
People leadership anddevelopment Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area ofresponsibility .
Properly organized staffed skilled anddirected. Guides motivates and develops direct and indirectsubordinates within HR policies.
Safety Drive the Safetyculture across the operating unit .Make sure that Safety is thefirst priority in the business across the value chain.
Living Organisation core values of safety and integrity which meanstaking responsibility for your own actions while caring for yourcolleagues and the business.
Your Background:
Bachelor/Master ofTechnology/ Engineering from a reputed university.
Strategic & result orientation Indepth knowledge of Market& customers.
Insight on Safety & QualityTeamwork and Collaboration People Development Personal & ChangeLeadership Intercultural Sensitivity & Effectiveness. Customerengagement & relations.
Minimum 5 years ofexperience in handling a Profit & Loss business.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language isrequired
