This is a remote position.

The Sr. CloudArchitect manages multiple assignments designing and implementing abroad array of AWS services works with clients to determine theirneeds understands their asis environment and recommends target AWSarchitectures while referencing the underlying rationale forarchitecture decisions that are based on industry standards (e.g.WellArchitected Framework). Lead teams of engineers in the buildoutof complex hybrid cloud environments lead large migrations andbring forward ideas on how to use the latest AWS services tooptimize environments and reduce technicaldebt.

Responsibilities:
  • Design implement andmaintain all AWS infrastructure and services within a managedserviceenvironment.
  • Design deploy andmaintain enterpriseclass security network and systems managementapplications within an AWSenvironment.
  • Design and implementavailability scalability and performance plans for the AWSmanagedserviceenvironment.
  • Continualreevaluation of existing stack and infrastructure to maintainoptimal performance availability andsecurity.
  • Implement process andquality improvements through task automation. Instituteinfrastructure as code security automation and automation orroutine maintenancetasks.
  • Perform datamigration from onpremises environments intoAWS
  • Support the businessdevelopment lifecycle (Business Development Capture SolutionArchitect Pricing and ProposalDevelopment)


Requirements
  • 3 years ofprofessional IT Operations or Infrastructure implementationexperience.
  • 3 years experienceprovisioning operating and managing AWSenvironments.
  • Must possess thefollowing active certification: AWS Solutions ArchitectAssociate.
  • Thoroughunderstanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologiesInfrastructure as a Service Platform as a Service and Software as aService Cloud delivery models and the current competitivelandscape.
  • Extensive experienceas Cloud Solutions Architect with AWS IaaS and PaaS (AWS EC2 S3 VPCRDS Route53 DirectConnect VPN CloudFrontetc.)
  • Experience withAWSmanaged services Amazon Kinesis AWS Lambda Amazon Simple QueueService (Amazon SQS) Amazon Simple Notification Service (AmazonSNS) and Amazon Simple Workflow Service (AmazonSWF).
  • Knowledge with WebServices API Gateways and application integration development anddesign
  • Experience with LinuxandWindows
  • Knowledge of agilesoftware development practices and releasemanagement.
  • Excellent written andoral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively withtechnical and nontechnicalstaff.
  • Must be a selfstarterwho requires minimalsupervision.
  • Meets all teamdeadlines and responsibilities listens to others and valuesopinions helps team leader meet goals and promotes a teamatmosphere.
  • Must have strongorganizational skills to handle heavy workload and multipleprojects with frequent interruptions and schedulechanges.
