RoleSummary:
Asthe Head of Engineering you will lead our engineering team drivingtechnical projects and providing leadership in an innovative andfastpaced environment. Your primary responsibility will be tooversee the development and optimization of our Javabasedapplications onAWS.
KeyResponsibilities:
  • Manageand mentor a team of software engineers across the backend andfrontend to build the identity productsendtoend.
  • Oversee the design development anddeployment of scalable APIs on the AWS infrastructure that canscale seamlessly for business needs.
  • Ensure thedelivery of highquality software solutions holding a very high barfor quality scalable and reusable code components across the entiretechnology stack.
  • Manage the departments budgetincluding resource allocation for projects personnel andtechnology.
  • Promote a culture of continuousimprovement and innovation within theteam.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams toalign engineering developments with companygoals.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency in ourengineeringprocesses.

Qualifications:
  • 10years of experience in SoftwareDevelopment
  • Proficient in Java (J2 EEframework) with 10 years of experience and 3 years of experience inAWS infrastructure.
  • 5 years of TechLead/Manager experience.
  • Experience working ina startup environment with the ability to adapt quickly to thebusiness needs and execute the company goals in an agilemanner.
  • Proven leadership skills in managingand growing engineering teams for a remotecompany.
  • Bachelors or an equivalent degree inComputer Science or a related field from Tier 1 Tier 2 Institutesor 90th percentile candidates from Tier3
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies andsoftware engineering best practices.
  • Excellentproblemsolving communication and team collaborationskills.
