Your work will directly impact the safety andlongevity of the structures we build.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Read and interpretblueprints and drawings
  • Measure and cutmaterials to specific lengths
  • Lay bricksconcrete blocks or stones in the appropriatepattern
  • Mix mortar or grout and spread it ontobricks blocks or stones
  • Ensure structures areplumb level and aligned
  • Use specific tools suchas trowels levels and jointers
  • Inspect existingstructures for repairs
  • Follow safety proceduresand protocols
  • Collaborate with otherconstruction professionals
  • Maintain clean andorganized work area
  • Provide estimates formaterials and labor costs
  • Complete all work tomeet building codes and regulations
  • Repair orreplace damaged bricks blocks or stones
  • Work atheights using scaffolding orladders
RequiredQualifications:
  • High school diplomaor equivalent
  • Apprenticeship or vocationaltraining in masonry
  • Proven experience as aMason
  • Knowledge of building codes andregulations
  • Ability to use masonry tools andequipment
  • Physical strength andstamina
  • Attention to detail andprecision
  • Understanding of safety proceduresand protocols
  • Ability to work independently andin a team
  • Good communicationskills
  • Ability to read and interpretblueprints
  • Knowledge of different types ofconstruction materials
  • Problemsolvingskills
  • Valid driverslicense
