Job Overview
As an Amazon Account Manager you will be responsible foroverseeing daily operations enhancing product listings anddeveloping strategies to maximize revenue on Amazon. Your primaryfocus will be on managing vendorside compliance and fosteringstrong relationships with Amazon to expand businessopportunities.
KeyResponsibilities
Sales Growth &Strategy
- Sales Planning: Develop andexecute strategies for sales growth on both Vendor Central andSeller Central analysing performance metrics to identifyopportunities for price optimization and productpromotion.
- RevenueGrowth: Monitor SKU performance to ensure healthysales velocity and product ranking implementing datadrivenstrategies for bundling promotions and seasonal marketingcampaigns.
VendorCentral Management
- Manage relationships with Amazon Vendor Managers tonegotiate terms such as cost prices and promotionalfunding.
- Handle purchase order management toensure timely fulfilment while minimizing discrepancies.
- Optimize revenue through effective demand forecasting andorder management.
Seller Central SalesOptimization
- Createand optimize product listings for maximum visibility ensuring theyare SEOfriendly.
- Strategize around Amazons A9algorithm to improve product ranking and increase organicsales.
- Manage Buy Box strategies andcompetitive analysis to maintain compliance.
Vendor RelationshipManagement
- Negotiatefavourable terms with Amazon Vendor Managers to enhance salesmargins.
- Monitor Vendor Central operationsresolving issues related to purchase orders and paymentdelays.
- Conduct regular performance reviewswith account managers to assess results and plan growthinitiatives.
Advertising &Marketing
- Plan launchand optimize Amazon PPC campaigns to boost productvisibility.
- Collaborate with Vendor Managerson promotional opportunities through Amazons marketingchannels.
DataAnalysis & Reporting
- Analyse sales trends and key metrics through AmazonBusiness Reports.
- Provide regular reportshighlighting achievements and challenges in meeting salestargets.
- Work with internal teams to forecastdemand and manage inventory effectively.
Key Skills &Qualifications
- 6 to 7years of experience managing Amazon Vendor Central and SellerCentral accounts with a focus on sales growth.
- Proven track record of increasing revenue through thesechannels.
- Strong understanding of Amazonsalgorithms SEO practices Buy Box strategies and salesmetrics.
- Excellent negotiation skills with ahistory of securing better trading terms.
