So, what’s the job?

You’ll lead a team of Data Governance and Business Intelligence professionals, owning overall responsibility for developing and implementing BI solutions to support business needs You’ll work towards uplifting BI delivery strategy in alignment with business objectives You’ll chair the Data Governance and Standards council and drive decisions for data standards and policies You’ll work with stakeholders and define incentives to encourage compliance to data governance and data management approaches throughout Cover More entities globally You’ll review controls implemented by the business to inform, advise and issue recommendations to the business with regards to data protection, privacy and compliance You’ll drive the documentation, approval, implementation, and enforcement of data governance policies and standards across the enterprise You’ll foster a data protection culture within the Group and help to implement essential elements of data protection You’ll promote a culture of continuous training to maintain data protection awareness and feedback You’ll offer consultation and guidance in the event of a data breach or other incident has occurred and report to senior stakeholders as required You’ll keep abreast of industry trends and changes to regional data regulations

And what are we looking for?

You’ll have 10 +years of Data Governance experience at the enterprise level You’ll at least 5 years experience leading teams within a complex organisational structure You’ll have extensive experience in IT / data strategy You’ll have proven experience of successfully managing Privacy services in a commercial environment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work on time and to budget. You’ll have experience working in a matrix, global environment, interacting regularly with international stakeholders
