Energy, Siemens Limited India is looking for a seasoned FinanceProfessional to lead Finance function for one of the businesses in SiemensEnergy. The candidate should have the potential or a proven track record ofrunning a great business while continuously adapting to the changing context inwhich we operate. The fast-paced changes include the changing buying behaviorof our customers to change in market demand from renewable integration &industrial segment to broad changes in macro trends – e.g., commodity prices,demand volatility. Covid related disruptions are now business as usual. 

This role will demand strategic and financial inputs and actions,together with the Business Head, Function Heads to create a highly flexible,economically competitive organization as well as the right go to marketstrategies while managing risks to create sustainable profitable growth. Thiswill of course also demand strengthening of the entire team through regularupskilling and changes to drive meaningful initiatives and actions. Thisposition offers unique opportunity to grow the conventional business as well asbuild a strategy around the emerging business opportunities.

Role and the challenge:

§As a trusted partnerto the Business Head, you will bring professional competence to create theright business strategies to enable profitable growth.

§As Finance Head, you willdefine, and drive guidelines relating to the Finance function and govern the financialmanagement of the business.

§You will beaccountable for the integrity of books and records, which includes an effectiverisk management and internal control system.

§You will beresponsible for driving Business Budget, Forecast as well as Controlling processthrough deeper understanding of key levers ofbusiness performance and through smart analytics.

§You will build astrong Business Finance team and make people development, succession planningand diversity an absolute priority.

§As a role model forthe finance community and beyond you live and promote ownership culture, youcollaborate and participate, yourself and motivating your team, incross-functional and cross-unit business improvement projects.

§You provide the BusinessHead and your managers with financial assessments andguidance to meet business objectives and corporate goals.

§You are professionally qualified with~10+ years of post qualification experience; with few yearsleading a business with complete value chain.

§Besides functional expertise needed for leadingFinance function in a business, you have exposure to different revenue models,different business models -e.g., consortiums, as well as financing structures.

§You have built and led teams successfully inchallenging business environment with multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities.

§You have strong internal and external network;and can engage with and influence Senior Leadership at CXO levels within andoutside the organization.

§You hold highest standards of ethics and integrity. 

§You have had diverse experiences in yourprofessional journey.
